Addison Jerry Hilliard, 78, went home on Tuesday April 17, 2018 and is now fully alive and whole with Jesus. He was reunited in heaven with his parents Marjorie Fortenberry and Addison Rogers Hilliard. He will be greatly missed by his wife Fay Griffin Hilliard, his son and daughter in law Addison Jeffrey and Jennie Hilliard and his grandchildren Addison Gabe, Miller, Cam and Jensen Hilliard. He will also be missed by the special group of ladies at Best of Care Senior Services who became family. We can’t thank you enough for how you loved and cared for him. Jerry was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge and although he was a civil draftsman at Jacobs engineering, he was a true Renaissance Man. He was an electrician, plumber, woodworker, furniture builder, mechanic, farmer, rancher, model airplane builder, author (writing a book of standards still being used today), photographer (with his own darkroom), van converter, computer and tech “tinkerer” to name just a few. You were an amazing man who took care of us so well and taught us so much. You were loved more than you knew and will be missed more than we can say. A memorial service will be held Sunday April 22 at Broadmoor UMC at 7 with visitation beginning at 5. Burial will be Monday April 23 at New Zion Cemetery in Tylertown, MS.
