Adolph “Buck” Louis Jumonville Jr.

Adolph “Buck” Louis Jumonville Jr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 27, 2021, in Sorrento, Louisiana, at the age of 82. He was born June, 19, 1939 in Union, Louisiana to the late Louise Trabeau and Adolph Jumonville Sr. He was a resident of Springfield, Louisiana. He enjoyed dancing, listening to country music, and watching his “cowboy” shows. Buck is survived by his sister, Marie Jumonville Schexnayder, children, Margie Schilling (Jeff), Michelle Rivere (Carlton, Sr.), Shellye Villenurve (Rodney, Sr.), and Terry John “TJ” Jumonville (Amy); step-children, Johnelle Majesty, Missie Reno, Patrick Gregoire; grandchildren, Tami White (Craig), Samantha Walker (Ronnie), Carlton Rivere Jr., Rodney Villenurve Jr., Dylan Villenurve, Hannah Villenurve, Seth Kling (Brittany), Donie Jumonville, Dakota Jumonville, and Lauren Jumonville; great-grandchildren, Madison, Mhyli, Kaidyn, Kyzli, Kaivah, Laila, Canaan, Heartli, and Luke. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Buck was also preceded in death by his three sons, Donie, Douglas, and Shayne Jumonville; brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Sarah and Joshua Roussel; and two wives, Sue Jumonville and Clementine Gregoire.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New River Baptist Church in St. Amant, 45270 LA-429 St. Amant, Louisiana 70774, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, beginning at 9:30 AM until the funeral service begins at 11 AM with Military Honors.  The family would like to invite anyone who would like to attend, to the Church Gym for a reception immediately following funeral services.
