He was charming and could hold his own with a bottle of rum. Alan was stubborn, loyal to a fault, had an amazing sense of humor and would never back down from a fight. Alan loved his family and friends and always supported them without judgment.
Whether he was lounging around watching an old western and eating Chinese takeout or outside boiling up the best seafood in Louisiana, Alan would have a rum and Coke in hand and a smile on his face. Cancer may have taken him from us, but it could never take away the impact he had on our lives. In accordance with Alan’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at the Pink Street Pub once Covid precautions have been lifted. To any and all who were lucky enough to be part of Alan’s life, please join us then to celebrate the laughter, love and life of Alan DePolitte. Time and date to be announced at a future date.
