Albert “Al” D. Everett passed away peacefully at Carpenter House on October 15, 2017 at the age of 81. Albert is predeceased by his Mother Rosia and Father Albert Dewitt Everett; one son, Nathan Everett; two brothers, John W. Everett of Shreveport and Earl Ray Everett of Modesto, California; and two sisters, Agalice Morgan of Pineville, La. and Milburn Powell of Colfax, La.
Albert is lovingly remembered by his soulmate and best friend, Gayle Landry of Baton Rouge La.; his sister, Viola Nichols of Alexandria, La; his two sons, Albert “Scooter” Everett of Port Allen, La. and Curtis Everett of Prairieville, La.; his grandchildren Chris Everett, Jonathon Everett, David Everett and Albert “Trey” Everett; and his great-grandchildren, Lelani and Beaux.
Albert was born in Boyce, La in 1935. He graduated from Oak Hill in Elmer La. in 1953 and went on to become a successful businessman located in the Baton Rouge Flea Market. He enjoyed helping the people of Baton Rouge with their Self Defense needs. Al spent his spare time enjoying his Western Novels and Listening to his favorite Hank Williams Albums.
The funeral service will be held at Nichols Cemetery, Gardner, La. on November 18, 2017 at 12:30pm with Luster Hayden presenting the Eulogy.
