Albin was born on November 7th, 1976, and passed away on February 18th, 2025, at the age of 48. Though his time with us was too short, the impact he made on the lives of those around him was immeasurable.
Albin was a roofer for most of his life. He had such a passion for the outdoors, and he loved riding 4-wheelers and fixing things – even if they seemed beyond repair. He was a true people person, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He found great joy in spending time with his family and friends. Albin was deeply loved by more people than he ever realized.
Albin fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. His strength and spirit throughout his illness were an inspiration to us all.
Albin was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Baker, and his mother-in-law, Stephanie Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda Rabalais; father, Albin Rabalais, Jr.; father-in-law, Sam Dispenza, and wife, Vicki; his two sisters, Robyn Harper and her husband, Matt, and Kaye Rabalais Byrd and husband, Channing; sister-in-law, Lisa Ragsdale and her husband, Neil; brother, Mike Hill and his wife, Kelley; brother-in-law, Josh Dispenza and his wife, Sommer; his six grandchildren, Ava Parker, Coby Parker, Addy Robertson, Braxton Weems, Colton Weems, and Waylan Weems; his kids, Alexander Louis Rabalais, Jadon Parrott, Paige Weems and her husband, Nick, Jacob Parker, and Addison Hayes; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended friends and family.
