Alice Elaine Sweeney

Alice Elaine Sweeney passed away at her home, June 9, 2020 at 40 years of age in French Settlement, Louisiana. Alice was born August 22, 1979 in Mhuuketa, Iowa to her mother, Dorann Sweeney and father, Dennis Sweeney.

She is survived by her children and son-in-law, Adrianna Sweeney and Norman, Gadge Hamilton, the late Seth Hamilton, Ben Dickenson; her very special friend, Andrew Wood; three amazing grandsons, Ayden Pederson, Keon Dre Bell and Kingston Bell; siblings, Michael Gumulauskas, Sherry Sweeney, Jesse Watts and Cory Willard; nieces and nephews, Michael VanDenBergh, Courtney Smithy, Haylee Watts, Hayden Watts, MyKenzi Zeke and Bo Gumulaskas; great-nephew, Rowen Smithy; maternal aunt, Sharon and Herman Weber; maternal aunts and uncles, Trina and Peter, Terry and Ann, Jamie and Connie, Jeff and Lenore Tiffany; maternal grandmother, Bev Tiffany and many more cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father Dennis Sweeney; son Seth Hamilton; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Alyce Sweeney; maternal grandfather, Frank Tiffany; maternal uncle, Andrew.

A service will be held at a later date.

Alice loved fishing on the river and every type of animal there was, and if she could have owned every animal on this planet she would have. Alice had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off her back. If everyone had one thing to say, it would be that she had the biggest heart for humans and animals of all kind.
