Alton Joseph Daigle
Alton Joseph Daigle, 84, a native of Belle Rose and a resident of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, passed away on September 23, 2022. Alton loved his garden, cooking,
dancing, spending time with his family, helping others, LSU, and the Saints. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 36 years Linda Zander Daigle, his daughters Deborah Daigle and Donna Tennyson, stepchildren Brian Hirsch, Michele Bonadona (Anthony), Holly Pilgrim (Sherwood), and Jon Hirsch (Linda), as well as 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Deanie Daigle and Beth Daigle, and his brother-in-law Barry Zander (Monique). He is preceded in death by his parents Elipe and Lezima Daigle, and his two brothers Allen Daigle and Percy Daigle (Coco). The family wishes to thank the staff at Chateau D’Ville and New Century Hospice for all their caring support and help. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29th at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville, Louisiana from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
