Angela Rogers Calhoun

Angela Rogers Calhoun, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 69 on December 7th, 2024. She was born in Thibodaux,  Louisiana on August 12th,1955 and was a graduate of South Terrebonne High School. Resident of Denham Springs, Angela was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, spending time with family and friends and all things owl themed. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond J. Rogers, her mother, Elma Guidry Rogers and her brother, Ronald Rogers.

Survived by her sister, Cindy Hebert; her sons, Raymond Calhoun, Michael Calhoun and Jennifer Owens, William Calhoun and his wife, Loan Nguyen Calhoun; three grandchildren, Dylan Calhoun, Brysen Calhoun, Colin Calhoun, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Capitol Oaks Nursing Home for the care and compassion given to Angela during her time of need. 

A memorial mass and burial will take place on January 11, 2025 beginning at 11 AM at Church of the Assumption (915 Main St., Franklin, LA 70538).
