Anthony "Buzz" Gambino

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony “Buzz” Gambino, who returned home to the Lord on March 4, 2025.

Buzz was raised in Waggaman, Louisiana, where he became known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved. He was a man with a heart as big as his smile—always willing to lend a hand, share a laugh, and make life brighter for those around him. His impact on his family, friends, and community will never be forgotten. 

Alongside his fiancée, Raquel Torres, Buzz built a life rooted in love and hard work. They resided in Raceland, Louisiana, where they were raising their two beautiful sons, Antonio (4) and Roman (3), as well as his stepson, Carmello (17). His greatest joy in life was being a father, and the love he poured into his boys will forever guide them.

Buzz dedicated himself to his family and their business, Gambino & Son Produce, working tirelessly to provide and build something meaningful. His strength, determination, and warmth touched everyone who knew him.

 He leaves behind his fiancée, Raquel Torres; his beloved sons, Antonio and Roman; stepson, Carmello; his mother, Bonnie Gambino; his sister, Laticia Mott, and countless relatives and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. 

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Buzz’s life will be held at Bayou Blue Assembly Church, 1403 Prospect Rd, Houma, LA, on March 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Visitation for immediate family and close friends will take place from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. 

Buzz’s presence was a gift to all who knew him. While our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing that his love, kindness, and legacy will never fade. Rest easy, Buzz—you were truly one of a kind.
