Arthur F Davis

Arthur F Davis, also known as Artie, passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born on December 31, 1955, in Mattoon, Illinois. Arthur had most recently resided in Maurepas, LA.  Arthur's favorite hobbies included spending time with his friends and family. He cherished the moments he shared with his loved ones. His greatest joys in life were his sons, sports, and an ice cold beer. He was known for selling the freshest produce and boiling the best peanuts. 

 Arthur is survived by his three sons, Trent, Travis, and Garret(Summer). He was a proud grandfather to Colton, Christian, Madison, and Miller Kate. Family was truly important to Arthur, and he loved being a part of their lives.   Arthur will also be remembered by his brother, Jo Davis( Peg), sister in-law Karon and brother in-law Jerry Montgomery and several nieces and nephews. Together, they formed a close bond and supported each other throughout the years. 

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Helen Swisher Davis, his sister Marlene, and his brother Terry. 

Arthur had a heart of gold and was known for his selflessness. He would willingly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His kind nature impacted the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. Arthur F Davis will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
