Audrey Scheuermann

Audrey Stierwald Scheuermann passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 71. Proceeded in death by her parents Merrill F Stierwald and Audrey L Stierwald and nephew Merrill F Stierwald III. Beloved widow of George A. Scheuermann and mother of Kristel Scheuermann and Audra Scheuermann Assavedo. Grandmother to Mia Nuzzolo Scheuermann, Gavin Assavedo, and BriarRose Assavedo. Brother Merrill F Stierwald Jr., sister Gwendolyn Stierwald Ourso. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Audrey was an active parishioner at St. Jerome church, served as an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister, and enjoyed being a catechist for the parish. Audrey volunteered at the Knights of Columbus Hall for many years. Also, was a member of the Jefferson Golden Age Club, served as president and was a 2018 maid for the Mardi Gras ball. She loved her catechist kids, enjoyed line dancing with her friends and taking trips with the Golden Age Club. Relatives and family are invited to attend a Memorial Services at 11am on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 2402 33rd St., Kenner. Visitation will be from 9 am to 11 am, Funeral Mass is from 11 am to 12 pm and the burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 5242 Canal Blvd., New Orleans.
