Billy Ray King passed away on March 18, 2024 at his home in Watson, Louisiana. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA on January 18, 1981.
He loved singing and dancing to any genre of music. He made friends anywhere he went and never met a stranger. He had an outgoing personality that could make a whole room laugh. Any time you were around Billy, it was always a good time with lots of laughs and smiles. He loved being with friends and family.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Chelsea Cooper; parents, Gordon and Barbara King; daughters, Hailly Benard and Skylar Burns; grandson, Grayson Wayne; granddaughter, Hazel Grace; brother, David & Ashley King; sister, April King; grandmother, Berdie Bennett; seven nieces; two nephews; three great nephews; and one great niece.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Adam DeWayne King Sr; grandfathers, Gordon King Sr. and Doyle Parrott; grandmother Delores Parrott, four uncles, Mike, Larry, and Joel Parrott, and Robert Oliver; and one Aunt, Debra Parrott Oliver.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Richardson, Landen Whittington, Kyle Harris, Adam King Jr, Justin Armstrong, and Jason Parrott. Honorary pallbearers, Jimbob Bonano.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Pentecostals of Watsons, 34639 LA Highway 16, Denham Springs, LA 70706 at 11:00am with services starting at 2:00pm. Rev. Kenneth Stewert will be officiating. Interment to follow at Salem Cemetery.
