Bobbie 'Bobbie-Sue' Dedon

'Bobbie-Sue' Dedon, born on August 15th, 1941, passed away at her home in Baton Rouge, LA on November 27th, 2024. A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Bobbie dedicated her life to caring for the most vulnerable members of our community in various roles in the medical profession. While living a life of service was important to Bobbie, nothing was greater or more important than her love and dedication for her family. 

She cherished the role of spouse and caregiver to her beloved husband of 65 years. She cherished every moment she spent with the greatest loves of her lives, her grandchildren and great grandkids.  

Bobbie is survived by husband Julius 'Joe' Dedon, daughter Tammy Renee Dedon (Richard), Grandchildren Shelly Nichole Richard and Gregory 'Chase' Richard (Crystal), sibling Fritzi Davis Wheeler (Stephen), great grandchildren Alexis Marie Richard-Shano, Mark Joseph Shano, Kali Nichole Shano, Dominic Richard, and Donovan Richard, as well as numerous surviving nieces and nephews whom she cherished with her heart. 

She is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Reba Davis, siblings Reba 'Jane' Davis, Johnny Roy Davis, Clarence 'Hot Moe' Davis, and Norris 'Sam' Davis
