Carl E. Efferson
Carl Ernest Efferson passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at his residence in Livingston at the age of 92. He was a retired carpenter and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Efferson Family Cemetery conducted by Rev. Steve Arledge.
He is survived by his daughter, Betty Efferson; son, Carl W. “Hammer” Efferson; sister, Barbara Jean Kropog; brothers, Arthur and Roy Efferson; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; First Cousin, Curtis Murray Williams.
Preceded in death by his wife, Vera Earnestine Wise Efferson; daughters, Janet Carolyn Efferson and Sharon Faye Efferson. He was a member of Springville Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Wounded Warriors. Church Funeral Services in Walker is in charge of arrangements.
