Carla S. Bourgeois

A ceremony celebrating the life of Carla S. Bourgeois will held at 11 am Saturday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church; visitation begins at 9 am. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery. Mrs. Bourgeois was born in Baton Rouge on September 3, 1949 and passed from this life on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at the age of 70 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Carl “Freddie’ and Bertha Babin Struppeck; sister Agnes “Cecilia” Brown; father in-law and mother in law, Peter and Ethel Bourgeois; son-in-law Tony Townsend. Survivors include her husband Claude “Clyde” Bourgeois; son Todd Bourgeois and wife Hope; stepdaughter Beth Lavigne and husband Brad; grandchildren Gavin Bourgeois, Dakota Descant, Cade and Kassie Vaugh, Chase and Alex Cranfield and Chelse Cranfield; great grandchild Corbin Cranfield; surrogate Gary Ferrari and Brian Greenlee.
