Carolyn Ann Matlosz

Carolyn Ann Matlosz of St. Amant, LA passed away in her sleep on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the age of 74. She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, David Matlosz. Born and raised in Gonzales, LA to Josie and Clarence Babin as one of nine siblings. She was the proud mother to four daughters, Kathy Talazac, Debra Turk, Kelly Dunnam, Kimberly Le Blanc; one son, Adam Dunnam. She was blessed with two more sons by marriage and love, Chris and Jason Matlosz. She was the loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Carolyn created beautiful crochet handiwork and loved to use her gift of a green thumb to garden. She had great hospitality and enjoyed having her family and friends over to visit and celebrate family traditions. A private memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
