Carolyn Elaine “Nonnie” Hughes

Carolyn Elaine “Nonnie” Hughes passed away at 4:16 AM Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 64. She was a property manager. Visitation will be at Brusly Lions Den on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 12:30 PM until 3:00 PM with a memorial service conducted by Varnell Woods. She is survived by her husband Edward Hughes age 69; mother, Alice Fowler age 84; daughter, DaJuana Farris age 44; sisters, Susan Miller age 62, Evelyn Cooper age 61, Louise Gabel age 58, Donna Fowler age 50 and Sarah Fowler age 41; brother, Larry Fowler age 58; grandchildren, Martina Farris age 20, Nicolas Farris age 16 and Elizabeth “Sassie Lee” Williams age15. She was preceded in death by her father, William Martin Fowler. Church Funeral Services in Walker is in charge of arrangements.
