Cassandra “Cassie” Marie Benoit Ledet

Cassandra “Cassie” Marie Benoit Ledet was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother when she passed away on August 14th, 2023 at 12:19 a.m. at the age of 70. She was born on December 1, 1952 and is a native of Houma, Louisiana. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Ledet; son, Michael Ledet; grandchildren, Coby, Tylar, Jace, Abrianna, Mariyah, Gracelyn and Patience; great grandchildren; Lilli, Khloe, Maddie and Scarlett; and brother, Chris Benoit, Sr.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Nuel N. Benoit, Sr. and Elise Kaul Benoit; sisters, Dorothy Bergeron, Yolanda Thibodaux, Elise Bienvenu and Pat Baio; and brother, Nuel Benoit, Jr.  She was cherished by all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing various lottery games and was a regular player of the Louisiana Lottery Pick 3 Game. She dreamed of hitting the big jackpot. We know that she has now hit that big jackpot in Heaven. We will miss her forever.
