Charles Bernard Brady, age 78, died on November 22, 2021, at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.Charles is survived by his wife, Frances Tubre Brady, of Baton Rouge; sons, Charles Brady, Jr., his wife Cindy Brady and son Cameron James, of Baton Rouge; Scott Earl Brady, his wife Jill LeBlanc Brady and their two sons, William Connor and Jack Elliot; Michael Douglas Brady, his wife Manami Miyazawa Brady and their three sons, Ryan Kai, Alan Sho, and Layne Sei, of San Tan Valley, AZ; and his daughter, Sharon Elizabeth Garidel, her husband Jamin Paul Garidel, and their two daughters, Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Charlotte Isabella, of Baton Rouge.He is preceded in death by his parents, James Bernard Brady and Mary Elizabeth Scroggs, of Baton Rouge, his siblings Barbara Ann Puffer of Yakima, Washington, Elena Sue Tarver of Alexandria, LA and James Earl Brady of Laguna Niguel, CA.Charles was born on Nov. 11, 1943, in LeCompte, LA to James B. Brady and Mary Elizabeth Scroggs Brady.He served in the US Army from 1966 through 1968 and received The Army Commendation Medal for exceptionally Meritorious service as the Chief of the Reproduction Branch of the First Armored Division and earned Expert Rifle and National Defense Service Medals.Charles graduated from Louisiana State University and worked in advertising and real estate. He loved to travel with his wife Frances and their dog Sammy.
Memorial service for Charles B. Brady will be at 11 am on Monday December 27, 2021, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 10335 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation will begin thirty minutes before the service at 10:30 am.
