Charles Edward Frazier was born April 15, 1946 in Florence, AL. He passed away at his home surrounded by family after battling a long illness on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the age of 72. He was a resident of Gonzales, LA, where he was employed with Vulcan Chemicals for almost 30 years before his retirement. He loved fishing, a nice cold beer, Alabama Crimson Tide football and most importantly, his grandchildren. He enjoyed working in his yard, where his “green thumb” was admired by neighbors and passers by for years. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maud L. Frazier, and two brothers, Calvin & Johnny Frazier. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Creasy Frazier and their three children, daughter and son-in-law, Leslie & John Lovett of Belton, TX, son and daughter-in-law, James & Nicole Frazier of Lexington, KY, and daughter and son-in-law, Amy & Jason Sullivan of Gonzales, LA. He is blessed with nine beautiful grandchildren he adored, Jakeb Lowery & Charli Lovett, Ethan & Jeff Frazier, and Madison, Mason, Maverick, Maddox & Maci Kaye Sullivan. Also survived by his father, Edward Thurston Frazier, sister Jauneze Gist and brother and sister-in-law, Gene & Jody Frazier, all of Florence, AL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Charles’ final wish was to be cremated, honoring his wishes, the family has decided to hold a Celebration of Life sometime in April.
