Charles Raymond Facundus

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31. Born January 6th, 1952 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A loving husband, father and paw-paw. Went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8th, 2021. He was surrounded by his loved ones at his home. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years; retiring as owner of his company, Precision Lubricants Inc. He enjoyed fishing with his beautiful wife and vacationing with his family in the mountains. He loved the Lord, his family and his country. Visitation will be held at New Bethlehem Baptist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Paul Jones and Rev. Randall Gill. Burial will be in New Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery, Watson.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rebecca Ann Loper Facundus. Also survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Carlin and Eric Lutsch, Amber and Daniel Abston; 1 son and daughter-in-law Wade and Brooke Facundus; 1 sister and 1 brother, Deborah Poirrier and Donald Facundus; 8 grand-children and 1 great-grand-child. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Bethlehem Baptist Church, 37818 Reinninger Road Denham Springs, LA 70706. Church Funeral Services in Walker 225-644-9683 is in charge of arrangements.
