Charles Michael 'Mike' Villar

Charles Michael "Mike" Villar, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 62. Mike was born in St. Amant, on March 22, 1962. Mike was a man of many talents and deep passions, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith in God.

 Mike is survived and remembered by his wife, Alisa; mother, Barbara Villar; children, Michael Villar and wife Ashley, Brett Villar and wife Jennifer, Erica Villar, and Ashley Sturdivant; grandchildren, Brant Villar, Ava Villar, Benjamin Villar, Robert (Robbie) Meche, and Charlize Villar; brother, Steve Villar, and wife Roxanne; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, sisters, Linda, and Sandra Villar. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Moise and Mildred Villar and Culver and Mary Alice Murray. 

 A visitation for Charles Michael Villar will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 9a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. Pallbearers will be Michael Villar, Brett Villar, Brant Villar, Jason Villar, Jason Hawkins, Walter Rainey, Logan Rainey, Chris Delaney and honorary pallbearers, Ethan Hawkins, and Robbie Meche. 

 Mike will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and dedication, and he will be forever remembered.
