Christopher “Chris” Hedger, born December 26, 1959, in Houston, TX, passed away on January 29, 2025, at his home in Gonzales, LA, at the age of 65. He enjoyed working in the yard, working on cars; and spending time with his partner of 23 years.
Chris is survived by his partner of 23 years, Jennifer Savage; his sister, Cindy Valdez; 6 children; 9 grandchildren; special relative, Raven Rodriquez; numerous nieces and nephews; canine companions, Mijo, Gizmo, and Blackie; and special friends, Dale and Lorie Martin, Danny Bourgeois, David Moore, and Paul Gayden.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Ignacia Hedger; his twin sister, Christina Ivy; and several brothers.
