Clara Ellen "Toto" McGhee Forbes

Clara Ellen "Toto" McGhee Forbes, my mom and my best friend passed on January 10th, 2025; while watching comedy videos on my cell phone and she passed with a smile on her face. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ervin Forbes Sr.; her son, Robert Ervin Forbes Jr.; and her sister, Loyce Myrtleann "Myrt" Templet. She was also preceded in death by her parents, most of her cousins and close friends. 

She is survived by her daughter, Robbie Ellen Forbes; and her son, Christopher Claude Michael Forbes; her granddaughter,  A'Laica Mikelyn " Wormy" Jacob; and her great granddaughters, Lacelyn StellaBeth Jacob and Jayslyn Jane Jacob; and her brother, Royce McGhee. 

She had recently reunited (after 33 years) with her granddaughter, Kayla Edwards Kelly and Kayla's husband Jeff Kelly, her Mom Kelly Chauvin Edwards and her Dad Lawson Edwards. She also got to meet her great-grandkids before she passed: Ryane, Ryleigh, Ava, Maloree and Emery Kelly. She will be missed by all who knew her and lived her. We will honor her within the family by supporting and living each other now and as time moves on.
