Clarence "John" Collignon

Clarence John Collignon, aged 78, passed away peacefully at his home in Baton Rouge, LA on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1946, in Baton Rouge, to Clarence Frederick Otto Collignon and Helene Rita Gremillion. He was a lifetime resident of Baton Rouge, LA and was a proud graduate of Catholic High and Louisiana State University. He went on to get his MBA at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He worked as an accountant for most of his career. John was a devoted member of his Catholic community at Most Blessed Sacrament in Baton Rouge and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by two daughters, Jeana Frances Collignon-Comish and Lauren Bray Collignon, one brother, Michael Frederick Collignon, one sister, Rita Marie Collignon Coday, one niece, Stacey Lynn Collignon and one nephew, Sean Michael Collignon . He is pre-deceased by one brother, George Ray Collignon. A funeral mass will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament on Friday, January 31 at 11am with visitation from 10:30am-11am and followed by the burial at Louisiana National Cemetery at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Missionaries of Charity at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
