On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, our family lost a most precious spirit that unified our wholeness. Clarence Felix Grose Jr., born in New Orleans, LA, on November 26, 1942, passed after a lifetime of selfless servitude toward others. He was our living miracle in endless ways, and we will rejoice again united in the presence of our Lord. Clarence was a resident of St. Bernard Parish until he relocated to Prairieville, LA, following Hurricane Katrina. He was a retired lifelong employee of Entergy and valued his family, gardening, fishing, and above all else his beloved “bride” of 59 years, Judy.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence F. Grose, his mother Daisy C. Breaux, and his stepfather LC Breaux.
Surviving him is his wife Judy Roberts Grose, Daughter Angie Belanger (David), son Clarence “Bubba” Grose, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-granddaughters, brothers Charles Grose, Tony Grose, James Grose, sister Daisymae Kamlade, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Fellowship Church in Prairieville, LA, on Tuesday, March 22nd, at 9:00am with service beginning at noon. Burial to follow at Serenity Oaks Cemetery. All family and friends are invited to return to Fellowship Church for a luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, please consider performing an act of kindness in honor of Clarence.
