Claudia "Clyde" Jean Clampit

Clyde was born on September 23rd, 1937, and passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 18th, 2025, at the remarkable age of 87.

Clyde cherished fishing and visiting the casino to play sizzling 7's. She held a deep affection for her family and was a loyal friend to those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As we reflect upon Clyde's life, let us remember that she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Pete Clampit; mother, Ruby Jones, stepfather, Charlie; father, Claude Blakley; brother, Marvin Blakley; sister, Louise Kelley; and her grandsons, Timothy Nations and Joseph Clampit.

Clyde leaves behind a vast legacy of love, including her children, Donna and husband Mike, Belinda and husband Dale, Randy and wife LaJean; brothers, Melvin and wife, Judy, Harold and wife, Becky; sisters, Diane, Virginia and husband, Kenny. 

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Cristy and husband, Charlie, Jason and wife Kelli, LaShay and husband Brad, Blake and wife Leslie, Doug, and Michael and wife Amber.

Pallbearers serving are Jason, Blake, Doug, Michael, Brand and Charlie.

Clyde's spirit will live on in her numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

Though we may grieve Clyde's passing, we find solace in the love and memories she has left behind. May her spirit forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
