Clifford Paul Bourgeois

Clifford Paul Bourgeois was born March 23, 1959 and was a resident of St. Amant, LA. He died at his home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the age of 58. He was employed for 28 years by Performance Contractors of Baton Rouge. He was an avid deer hunter. He loved all of his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Visitation will be held at New River United Methodist Church, where he was a member since 2009, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017. Visitation will resume at New River United Methodist Church at 9:00am until funeral service at 11:00am on Friday, December 15, 2017. He is survived by his three children, daughter Crystal Becnel of SC, son, Clifford D. Bourgeois of St. Amant, and daughter & son in law, Lacy & Chris Frost of St. Amant; wife, Sheila Bourgeois of French Settlement; mother, Shirley Richardson Bourgeois Nickens and stepdad, Johnny Nickens; three brothers, Rene & Kim Bourgeois, Blaine & Becky Bourgeois, and Bryant & Monica Bourgeois; three sisters, Tutti & Terry Templet, Daphne & Chris Lambert, and Rachel & Shannon Reynolds; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Victorine & Russel Picou, and Clyde & Leanna Richardson; his father, Rene Bourgeois, Sr.; brother, Anthony Bourgeois; grandson, Devin Migliore; and father in law, Joseph Aydell.
