Cpl Stephen Day

On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, Marine CPL Stephen C.C. Day of Gonzales, LA slipped peacefully away in his bed. The kindest and most thoughtful man you could ever meet, he was always there for anyone in need of encouragement or assistance. When Stephen wasn't off on wild adventures to exciting new places with his wife, he could be found jamming out with the boys and creating absolute poetry in lyrical form. 

Stephen is survived by his wife - Tabitha JC Day, "those dumb cats," his parents - Pam and Britt Day, and his siblings - Britton, Katie, Matthew, and Wendy.

He is preceeded in death by his brothers - Chad and Job.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 10:00am until 1:00pm at the Gonzales Memorial VFW Post, 42430 Churchpoint Rd, Gonzales, LA 70737. Services will be held at the hall at 1:00pm with US Marine Military Honors to follow.
