Curtis "Little Curt" Stafford, aged 68, passed away on July 17, 2024, in St. Amant, Louisiana. Born on June 26, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he was a beloved figure in his community and a cherished family member throughout his life.
Curtis graduated from East Ascension High School in 1976 and spent his younger years indulging in the joys of hunting, fishing, and cooking-passions that brought him close to nature and his companions. Known for his love of being outdoors, he particularly enjoved sitting on his swing while spending time with friends and family, always taking an interest in the lives of his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his sisters, Sheryl Donaldson of St. Amant, LA, Judy (Teddy III) Heintz of Petal, MS, and Susan Landry of Pierre Part, LA. He was a proud uncle and godfather to Teddy Heintz IV, Raymond Wilde, Tonya Johnston, Destiny Richard, Brittany Palmer, Candis Benoit, Duke Donaldson, and Jesse Landry. His family and friends will remember him as a loving and attentive brother, uncle, and friend who never forgot a face or name.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Sr. and Emily Stafford, sister Ruby Stafford, his nephew Russ Landry, and his brother-in-law Randy Landry:
