Dana Bruce Gannon

Dana Gannon Jr., a resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away at the age of 30 on November 23, 2024 at the Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet. He was the life of the party and had a heart full of love. Dana loved the outdoors and spending time at the Belle River camp with all of his friends. He worked for Claymar Construction for the past 10 years and was at Air Liquide (Algus) plant for the past 8 years, which he loved. Dana loved cutting up, trucks, and welding with his best friend Corey Hergurder. As well as with his other friends at scraping the coast.

He is preceded in death by his Grandma Joann, Grandpa Pinky Allain, Aunt Terry, Uncle Al, brother Zach Gannon, and many more family and friends.

Survived by his mother Pamala Woods, stepdad Lorne “Pops" Woods, brother John “JJ" Bernhard, brother Levi Woods, and Sister Gina Woods, dad Dana Gannon Sr., and sister Skyler Gannon. Survived as well by his special friends: Corey Hergruder, Clayton Chelette, Braiden Lambert, Hunter Easley, Stephen Picou, Wyatt Reid, Koby Ficklin, Brent Graves, Jamie Clements, Nate Sciortino, Jaurden Kramer, Justin Poche, Damon Matthews, Danny Major, and his Uncles Larry, Donald and John Allain. His lady friends: Alex Tomlinson, Olivia, Vanessa, and Madeline Beall, Nikki Picou, Kristina Reid, momma Holly, Aunt Marie Wilson, Aunt Debbie Worsham, Brittany and her son Blayson Barcelona, and his best friend Nahla Gannon (his fur baby girl). Also, his Niece Skylar Hergruder who he spent a lot of time with and loved so much and so many more that he loved. A special thank you to his very dear friend Lauren Sevario and her son Shelby.

A celebration of life memorial Service will be held Saturday December 14th at Carpenters Chapel United Methodist Church (41181 LA-933 Prairieville La 70769) visitation will be from 2pm to 5pm.

Special Thanks to Kaylee, all the first responders, the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Baton Rouge General Hospital.
