Daniel Reed Cherry

Daniel Reed Cherry, age 76, passed away on October 27, 2021. Dan was born in Muroc, California to Virginia (Hall) and George F. Cherry. Dan attended Stone High School in Wiggins, MS and was an active member in the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union No. 214 in Baton Rouge for most of his adult life. A plant, animal, and Studebaker enthusiast, Dan enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers, Douglas and David Cherry; daughters, Kim (Bob) Donahue, Jennifer (Elmer) Haga, Elaine (Tony) Blacharski; sons, Aaron (Elisabeth), Luke (Nicole), and Jacob (Juliette) Cherry; grandchildren, Bobby, Kasey, Reed, Aaron, Penelope, James, and Arthur. A private memorial service to celebrate Dan’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of Baton Rouge.
