Daphine Ellis

Daphine Ellis departed this life peacefully in her sleep at her residence on March 10, 2018. She is preceded in death by husband, Luther B. Ellis Jr.; parents, Dottie and Oakley Teddlie; sisters, Mary Jane Teddlie and Dorothy Ann Hughes. Survived by daughter, Susan Kay Smith; son-in-law, Kenneth Smith; son, David Ellis; and nephew, Michael Hughes. A ceremony celebrating the life of Daphine will be held 11:00am Wednesday at United Methodist Church St. Francisville; wake will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Feliciana Cemetery.
