David Bergeron

David “Scooter” Bergeron passed away on February 22, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in New Roads on November 28,1956 and was residing in Hammond. He is survived by his siblings: Keith (Julie) Bergeron and Marilyn (Lester) Guidroz. He is also survived by his children; Ashley (Aiman) Bayoumi, Ross (Shannon) Bergeron, and Huey Bergeron, along with their mother, Jackie Bergeron, and grandchildren: Liam and Eli Bayoumi and Xavier Bergeron. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Juanita Bergeron, and two brothers, Thomas “Tommy” Jr., and John Alden “Bo” Bergeron. Pallbearers will be Ross Bergeron, Huey Bergeron, Aiman Bayoumi, Daniel Hogan Jr., and Kirk “Clipper” White. A visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Church Hall on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 8:30am-9:45am. Funeral services will be after visitation at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church in New Roads, followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
