Debra Plaisance

A ceremony celebrating the life of Debra Ann Plaisance will be 12 noon on Friday December 11, 2020 at Church of Latter Day Saints, 502 East LA Hwy 30 Gonzales; visitation will begin at 11am.Debra was born on September 4, 1964 in New Orleans and passed from this life on Monday December 7, 2020 at the age of 56 years.She was a resident of Prairieville and enjoyed dancing and social time. She will be remembered as always being the center of attention, making everyone smile and seafood being her favorite. She loved time with family and her circle of friends.She is preceded in death by her parents Valley and Eleise C. Plaisance, and a granddaughter Nevaeh Rose Pauilette.

Survivors include her children Eleise Yates Martin (Anthony), and Donald “D J” Yates Jr, (Ashley), father of her children Donnie Yates Sr., siblings Ellen Lucad (William), Valley Plaisance Jr., (Sandy), Tim Plaisance (Marie), and Tom (Bobby), grandchildren Brodie Martin, Kno’lee Yates, Mason Brown and a host of other grandchildren, relatives and friends.
