Derrick Tiger Diez

Derrick Tiger Diez of Prairieville, LA passed away on 6-24-22 after his courageous battle against cancer. 

Derrick had a passion for life and a smile that would light up the room when laughed.  His love of fishing and the great outdoors along with his playful nature made trips to Point Aux Chenes, La going fishing with family and friends adventurous and full of laughter. He was quite the jokester and loved to make people laugh.  He was a hard worker and played even harder.    He adored his animals.    But the biggest part of his heart was saved for his family.  Spending time with family doing even the simplest of things was cherished.  Above all, was his abiding love and devotion for his wife Sabrina, the love of his life, and his stepson Alex and the life they shared together. He was survived by his wife Sabrina Diez, his stepson Alexander Bennett, mother Angela Diez, his father Ronnie Diez, his grandfather Phillip Tiger, his siblings: Victoria Tiger, Courtney Diez, Hunter Diez, Justin Diez, and Shantel Diez, his niece and nephew Caley Duplessis & Ryder Rodriguez. He is proceeded in death by his grandmother Carolyn Tiger And his uncle Rick Tiger. Derrick and his wife were very fortunate to have supporting friends and family though-out this tenacious battle from cancer with donations, benefits, and as much help as possible.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 10:30AM until 11:30AM.  The Memorial Mass will begin at 11:30AM.
