Diane Kyes

Diane B. Kyes was born on December 7, 1950 to the union of Wallace J. Braud Sr and Mallie Chaney Braud and she departed from this life on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. A ceremony celebrating the life of Diane will be at 1:00pm on Saturday at Victory Temple Church Prairieville; visitation will begin at 10:00am until time of the service. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Mausoleum. “Aunt D” was a resident of Gonzales; she loved spending time at her camp on Belle River and with her family, especially the kids of the family and friends. She enjoyed fishing and was a self-proclaimed Fishing Champion! She is preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Derek Braud Sr. Survivors include her companion of almost thirty years, Carl J. Broussard; her brother, Wallace Braud Jr; also survived by her canine companion “Spanky”, and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials of one’s choice preferred.
