A ceremony celebrating the life of Mr. Donald John Porche will be held at 6:00pm Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Amite Baptist Church, 7100 Amite Church Road, Denham Springs, LA 70706, visitation will begin at 3:00pm until time of service.He is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda Seaton Porche, daughter Donna Ashley Porche, parents Alfred A. Porche and Adolphine Roux Porche, and brother Butch Porche.Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-laws Shannon and Angelo Alongi, Sharmaine and Rodney Hardin, sister Mary Matherne, brother Alfred A. Porche, Jr. 6 grandchildren Mallorie, Kaylan, David, Jarrad, Rodlyn, and Cali, great-grandson Hayden, numerous nieces and nephews.Donald was owner and operator of Porche’s Sausage for over 30 years. He enjoyed cooking for all his friends at camp Henry the No Gun Hunting Club, loved his LSU sports and most of all his garden. He quickly became a friend to all who he met and likely had a pot of something delicious cooking to share with all.
