Donald Scott Mcdowell

In Loving Memory of Donald Scott McDowell, “Donny”, who passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022. Born July 30, 1960. He is survived by his only son Scotty McDowell; his mother, Barbara McDowell; sisters, Wylene Payne (John) and Kelly Lambert (Mike); Brothers, Ronny McDowell (Tanya) and Jack McDowell (Jennifer); niece, Grant Berkobin; nephews, Jordan and Jaxon Lambert, TC Matherne and Seth Aillet; and great nieces and nephew Presley Lambert along with Colman, Sterling, Winsor Grace and Sutton Berkobin.  He was preceded in death by his father Wiley McDowell, brothers Johnny and Mark McDowell.

Donny was the most kindhearted person you have ever met. He would give you his shirt off his back or his last dollar to anyone that was in need. Not only sweet, he was extremely funny and will be remembered as always having a joke to share. He loved his son, family and friends. His second family was Rouses grocery, where he was a dedicated employee for 25 years. He was proud of all his employees. He loved anything LSU and Saints sports, fishing and the beach.
