Donis Ward Byrd, Jr.

Donis Ward Byrd Jr., born in Pascagoula, MS, was a former resident of Baton Rouge, LA and who currently resided in McCall Creek, MS, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the age of 70.  Donis was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cutting his grass.  He is survived by his son, Jordan Byrd; sister, Roxanne Byrd Traigle and husband Glynn, as well as numerous nieces, cousins, and other family members.  Donis is preceded in death by his parents, Donis, Sr. and Wanda Anderson Byrd; brother, Russell Lee Byrd.  A service to celebrate Donis’s life will be held at a later date.  To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.churchfuneralservices.com .  Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of Baton Rouge, LA.
