Donna "Donnie" Ruth Taylor Hano, 74, of Holden, Louisiana was born January 31, 1950, in Doyle, Louisiana and passed away peacefully at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge on April 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Her favorite hobbies included making crafts, gardening, and working in her yard. To know Donnie was to love her. She will be forever remembered for her contagious laughter that brought joy to all in her presence.
Donnie is survived by her husband, Glenn Hano; daughters: Jodey Dale Sanders Acosta (David Morgan) and Channon Desha Sanders Lucas (Jessie Jr.); former son-in-law Blaine Acosta; grandchildren: Ashley Morrison Cothern (Chris), Cody Blaine Acosta (Whitney), Bradley Paul Acosta (Tara), Hollie Lucas Osborne (Russell), Joseph Morgan, Janie Morgan, and Julianne Morgan; great-grandchildren: Tristin, Brooklyn, Raelyn, Brayden, Emma, Sarah, Amalee, and Noah Paul.
She is also survived by her sister: Gloria Gail Herbert and brothers: Donald "Tad" Taylor (Patty), and Richard "Ricky" Taylor (Tammy); brothers and sisters-in-law: Wallace and Winnie Hoyt, Darrell and Brenda Sanders, and Katie Hano Brady, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Dale Sanders; mother and step-father Patsy Whitehead Kemp and Simpson Kemp; father Donald Jones Taylor; sister: Virgina "Jenny" Ann Bueche and brothers: Charles "Charlie" Wiley Taylor, and William "Billy" Harrison Taylor; mothers and fathers-in-law: Romeo and Thelma Hano and Herbert and Hazel Sanders; and brothers-in-law: Erroll Hano and Wallace "Wally" Bueche.
A private graveside service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Stafford Cemetery #1 off of 1036 in Holden, Louisiana
