Edgar Anthony Saucier, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Edgar Anthony Saucier, Jr. will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church St Amant. Visitation will begin at 9 am. Internment will follow at the church mausoleum.

 He was born on March 17, 1939 in New Orleans and passed from life on Monday, July 29, 2024 at his home. 

 He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and sports. He was also an avid fan of the Blue Angels. 

 He is preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Hammel Saucier; parents, Edgar and Shirley Saucier; sister, Shirley Hearn; brothers, Daniel and Dennis Saucier; great grandson, Levi Elisar.

 Survivors include sister, Evelyn Saucier Palmisano; children Edgar “Buddy” Saucier III (Penny), Charmaine Elisar (Todd), and Jeff Saucier; also survived by grandchildren, Lauren Buck (Matt), Steven Saucier (Sarah), Lee Elisar (Taylor), Kirk Elisar (Randi), Reece Elisar (Jasmyne), and Wyatt Saucier; great grandchildren Gavin and Baker Elisar, Brooks and Beckett Buck, Millie and Ruthie Elisar, Auggie Elisar.
