Survivors include children: Eddie Derouen, Jr. (Melody), Perry Derouen (Lisa), Wendy Babin (Jimmy), grandchildren, Buddy (Allie), Lindsay, and Missy (Scott); great grandchildren Blaize, Demi, Cannon, Victoria, and Faith, great great grandchild Easton, also survived by other relatives and friends
He was a resident of Buras, La for many years, then Denham Springs, La, and St Amant, La and a member of the Catholic Faith
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend
He enjoyed his family, visiting friends, cooking (made best gumbo), trawling, and his longtime job at Chevron Oil
He’ll be remembered as a great friend to everyone he met
