Elizabeth Allen Johnson Givens

Elizabeth Allen Johnson Givens, a native of Independence, LA, passed away on January 24, 2024, in Zachary, LA, at the age of 78. She was a resident of Baker, LA.

Elizabeth was a Licensed Practical Nurse who spent many years caring for women in post-partum care. Outside of her career, Elizabeth found joy in various hobbies and interests. She had a deep love for horses and cherished spending time with them whenever she could. Fishing was another passion that allowed her to unwind amidst the beauty of the great outdoors.

She is survived by her loving son, Steven Bradley Alford; sisters, Alice Robinson and Donna Cull; granddaughters, Natasha, Sierra, Desiree, and Sheli. Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Henry Allen Johnson and Elsie Mae Hughes Johnson; beloved sons, Jonathan Lane Alford and Ernest Ray Alford, II; brother, Jack Johnson; and granddaughter, Brandi Nicole Fontenot.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at First United Methodist Church in Baker, LA from 1PM to 3PM.
