Elizabeth was a strong woman who overcame many adversities during her lifetime. She always attributed each success to being a “Girl Raised in the South” (GRITS) and this became her mantra. She enjoyed cooking, reading, growing flowers and all sports, especially football. She was a true LSU fan and would make sure her family living out of state knew when all the LSU football, baseball and basketball games were televised. Her bright smile and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by all those who knew her.
