Elva Eva Henderson Michael, aged 92 years, was born July 16, 1930 and was called home on Thursday September 29, 2022 while residing at Ascension Oaks Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughter, Nina Michael Fogleman; and sisters Gertie Savoy, Margaret Delaune and Verna Tircuit (Connie Tircuit); grandchildren, Erin Shelton (Darryl), Charlotte, Sarah Johnson (Justin), Lionel P. Lambert, Becky Harper (Rick), Sandy Mayfield (Monty) Sheri Giagnoni (David), and Johnnie Fogleman, along with many loving great grand and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lottie Henderson and Louis J “Buck” Henderson; brother, Louis J. “Junior” Henderson; sisters, Jewel Denova and Shirley Anderson; two husbands, Lyle L Michael and Ray Nasworthy; children, Pansy Lee Michael Savoie Lambert; son, Terry L. Michael; son-in-laws, Irvin R. Savoie, III and John I. Fogleman; and great grand daughters, Nichole Shelton and Marie Matherne.
Visitation will be held at Faithful United Methodist Church, 14253 Hwy 431, St. Amant, LA on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 9AM until 11AM. The Funeral Service will begin at 11AM in the church with burial in the church cemetery to follow. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
