Eric Paul Morris

A gathering celebrating the life of Eric Paul Morris will be Friday October 2, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Smoke Bend, from 8 am until 10 am with a mass to follow. Eric, a resident of St. Amant, was born on November 11, 1960 in Donaldsonville and passed from this life on September 23, 2020 at the age of 59 years. He was a supervisor for Petroleum Service Corporation at C F Industries for forty years. He graduated from Ascension Catholic School in 1978; meet and married his wife in 1982. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Melinda T. Morris, children Brad Micheal Morris (Kristina), and Brooke Marie Morris, grandson Bently J. Church, siblings Kent K. Morris Jr (Connie), Troy D. Morris, and Rebecca “Becky” M. Barbier; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Morris; father, Kent Morris Sr, and a sister in law, Rachel Giroir Morris.
