Eugene Ayo

Eugene J. “Gene” Ayo, II., was born in New Orleans on August 17, 1952 and departed from this life on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at 10:10 pm at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 23 days. He was a resident of Gonzales; he retired after 33 years of service as a supervisor with Industrial Coating; and served with the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his father Eugene Sr; children Kristina and Shannon; brother Russell. He is survived by his devoted wife Linda; by his son Michael; his mom Betty, siblings Steve, Kenny and JoAnn (Jodi); also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, host of other relatives and friends. A ceremony celebrating the life of Gene will be held at 2 pm August 12, 2019 at New River Baptist Church; visiting will begin at 10 am.
