Evelyn Borer Rogers

Evelyn Borer Rogers passed away peacefully, at her home in Albany, La, on August 21, 2021, at the age of 83. Born November 25, 1937 in Hammond, La. She was a long time member of Christian Center Church. She devoted her life to multiple ministries. Evelyn enjoyed her family, reading her bible, cooking, baking, and sewing.

She is proceeded in death by two husbands, Huey Borer Sr. and Johnny Rogers, her two daughters Elaine Strain and Lesia Borer a son-in-law Dewayne Watts and daughter-in-law Dannet Borer Hamby, her mother Ida Badon Starkey and her father Benjamin McDonald, her sister Peggy Crumholt, her brother Ernie Hull, grandson Travis Strain, great granddaughter Olivia Rice, and cousin Patsy Arceneaux.

She is survived by her three daughters, Nona Borer, Marvee Borer, Audra and husband Charlie Jarreau, four sons Collin Borer, Ronnie Borer and wife Cheryl, Bruce Borer and wife Kay, and Huey Borer Jr. Her grandchildren, Troy, Tracy, Nikki, Vanessa, Terry, Lacee, Tammy, Ted, Annette, Charity, Kevin, Ben, Heather, O’dell, Joy, Zack, Colby, Kristin, Shane, Eric, and Jen. As well as numerous great and great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
