Francis 'Frank' Elder Kleinpeter

June 16, 1951 — September 1, 2024

A cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024, at the age of 73. Frank was born on June 16, 1951, to Vincent and Patricia Kleinpeter in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. From a young age, he was known for his mischievous spirit, athleticism, and competitive nature. He attended Catholic High School, Class of 1970, where he was a standout football player. Frank demonstrated remarkable skill and teamwork, earning the respect and admiration of his peers. His vibrant personality extended beyond the field; he was a true friend who knew how to enjoy life.

Frank dedicated much of his career to the family business, Kleinpeter Farms Dairy, where he managed delivery routes across the region with dedication and commitment to excellence. His hard-working nature was evident, as he continued to work after retirement at the Baton Rouge Tax Assessor's Office, where he remained dedicated until his final days.

Beyond his career, Frank's life was marked by humility, kindness, and a great sense of humor. Whether fishing, golfing, or gathering with loved ones to cook, he cherished every moment. Frank possessed a profound faith, reflected in his 4 AM Sunday Adoration Chapel devotion at Our Lady of Mercy. He was a generous spirit who listened to understand and offered unwavering support to his family.

He is survived by his children: Scott Kleinpeter (Karla), Frankie Kleinpeter Jr. (Amy), Cory Kleinpeter (Lesley), Patricia Duvic (Daniel), and Chris Kleinpeter (Amy); grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Paw Paw" are Lauren Quick (Myles) and Logan Kleinpeter; Arianna, and Emma Kleinpeter, Madeline and Camille Cancienne; Jackson Firmin, and Brooklyn, Aubrey, and Colby Wiley; Austin, Alice-Catherine, and Anderson Duvic; and Chris and Ruston Kleinpeter. His memory will also live on by his brothers and sisters Bo Kleinpeter, Jerry Kleinpeter, Gladys Edward, and Karen Lindsey and a host of other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty; his parents Vincent (Bo Bo) and Patricia Kleinpeter; and brother Ronnie Kleinpeter.

A celebration of life will be held on September 18th, 2024 at the Our Lady of Mercy Church Parish Activity Center, 445 Marquette Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70806, at 5pm.

As we bid farewell to Frank Kleinpeter, let us remember him for his quick wit and constant positive attitude. He was cherished by all who knew him, maintaining lifelong friendships. His legacy is one of hard work, strength, faith, and an enduring ability to bring joy to those around him.
